Bourbon Bent Expands Its Concept with New Full-Service Restaurant: The Saddle

TUCSON, AZ (July 15, 2025) Bourbon Bent, long known as the only Western bar on the University of Arizona campus and a favorite for its lively music nights and Thursday karaoke, is entering a new chapter. The space will reopen under the new name The Saddle, relaunching with a fresh identity and full-service focus.

Located on University Boulevard in the heart of the UA district, The Saddle brings fun country vibes as the only country bar on campus. The concept builds on Bourbon Bent’s reputation while adding a complete dining experience led by Chef Justin Stewart.

“This is not a goodbye to Bourbon Bent. It is a step forward,” said the ownership team. “The Saddle keeps the heart of Bourbon Bent alive but adds more ways to gather, eat, and celebrate.”

The Saddle will serve elevated, fresh Southwest cuisine along with the familiar Western inspired fun. It will be a great place to watch any game or a UFC event, with more exciting events planned to roll out soon. Designed for both students and Tucson locals, The Saddle offers an authentic, laid back spot for food, drinks, music, and entertainment.
